英文面試幾乎是每個(gè)高校在MBA申請(qǐng)面試中必不可少的一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)，有的高校會(huì)要求考生做一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短的英文自我介紹（brief self-introduction）,有的則是采取提問或者抽簽方式進(jìn)行問答。今天先跟大家講講如何寫好英文的自我介紹。一般來說，個(gè)人面試時(shí)間在15分鐘左右，因此，自我介紹盡量控制在兩分鐘以內(nèi)，在有限的時(shí)間里盡可能多地展示自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)，要做到言簡(jiǎn)意賅、直切主題！
——行文前
在寫MBA面試英文前對(duì)自己進(jìn)行三輪自我拷問：
1．準(zhǔn)備好紙和筆，次拷問自己：
我有哪些優(yōu)點(diǎn)和優(yōu)勢(shì)？
我有哪些背景和經(jīng)歷？
可以發(fā)動(dòng)朋友同事家人一起來想，所有可能想到的，一一寫在紙上。
2．總結(jié)完畢，再度拷問自己：
在這些優(yōu)點(diǎn)和優(yōu)勢(shì)中，我的優(yōu)勢(shì)是什么？
在這些背景和經(jīng)歷中，我最與眾不同的地方是什么？
3．結(jié)合上述兩輪的答案，第三次拷問自己：
我對(duì)目標(biāo)院校有什么利用價(jià)值？
我對(duì)目標(biāo)院校有什么利用價(jià)值？
——行文中
行文中始終牢牢記住一個(gè)原則：時(shí)刻考慮面試官的需要：我為什么要錄取你，而不是其他的人！？寫自我介紹的過程中，權(quán)衡行文主線中的兩個(gè)方面：目標(biāo)院校要錄取我，是我需要得到來目標(biāo)院校來深造？還是我也值得他們選擇我。
行文主要包含以下四部分內(nèi)容：開頭語(yǔ)、個(gè)人背景、職業(yè)成就、為什么讀MBA、職業(yè)規(guī)劃
一、 句話（first word）很關(guān)鍵，不用說的很復(fù)雜?？梢允且粋€(gè)簡(jiǎn)單句，但一定要鏗鏘有力。展示出自信和實(shí)力.常見的開頭有:1. Good morning! may I introduce myself ..2. I am glad to be here for this interview. First let me introduce myself.
二、作自我介紹——個(gè)人背景（making a self-introduction ——background）有很多學(xué)校要求做一個(gè)自我介紹，這一問題并非在請(qǐng)你大談你的個(gè)人歷史?？脊偈且谀愕慕榻B中尋找有關(guān)你性格、資歷、志向和生活動(dòng)力的線索。來判斷你是否適合讀MBA。你可以先介紹一下姓名、年齡，畢業(yè)學(xué)校以及工作崗位等內(nèi)容。
在這里給出描述個(gè)人品質(zhì)常用詞匯的中英文對(duì)照，可以參考。

三、作自我介紹——職業(yè)發(fā)展（making a self-introduction ——career development）這是很關(guān)鍵的一部分，也是MBA考官會(huì)重點(diǎn)考察的一部分。要把工作經(jīng)歷和MBA的學(xué)習(xí)以及職業(yè)發(fā)展方向作為一個(gè)整體來談，讓老師感到你選擇MBA是一個(gè)理性的選擇而不是一時(shí)沖動(dòng)，選擇MBA是職業(yè)發(fā)展中的一個(gè)必然選擇，而不是因?yàn)檎也坏焦ぷ?。你可以用這些句型: 1、In the past years, I’ve worked at IBM as a software engineer. In my work, I found communication and management is very important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose MBA! if I am given a chance to study MBA in this famous University, I will stare no effort to master a good command of communication and management skill.（在過去的幾年中，我作為一個(gè)軟件工程師在IBM工作。在工作中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)交流和管理非常的重要。我一直認(rèn)為一個(gè)人很容易落后，如果不持續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的話，所以我選擇了MBA！如果我有機(jī)會(huì)在這個(gè)的大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)MBA，我會(huì)不遺余力的掌握溝通和管理的技能。）
這一部分剛好回應(yīng)了為什么選擇要讀MBA這個(gè)問題，也順帶闡明了自己后期的職業(yè)規(guī)劃。
最后，即使正式面試時(shí)考官?zèng)]有直接讓做英文自我介紹，提前做好準(zhǔn)備，對(duì)于應(yīng)付很多英文問答也是可以派上用場(chǎng)的，比如說：

What contribution did you make to your current organization?
Why do you take the MBA examination ?
Why do you think you are qualified for the MBA program?

Good morning! Nice to meet you here, professor. I am happy to be here and take this interview. I am XXX, 31 years old, a local citizen. I graduated from Chongqing Technology and Business University in 2004, majoring in financial investment. Within the period of my campus life, I studied hard and gained rich knowledge about my major. After that, I worked in xxx, a limited liability company, dealing with assets management work. My main job is to participate in the joint ventures and acquisition, establish new branches, and handle the subsidiaries’ assets effectively. From 2004-2008, I joined some large projects about acquisition and establishment of new subsidiaries. After 2008, I was transferred in xxx. But now, I was dispatched, by disciplinary commission, in xxx company, supervising their relocation work From last April, I have been studying in a MBA training institute where I make many friends from all walks of life. And now I am taking this interview for the final result. I hope I can pass the exam smoothly and further my MBA study. Because, for my part, MBA learning will be a part of my academic journey ,and during this colorful journey I will meet different kinds of friends with whom I can enrich my studies and personal lives both. Furthermore, I am sure I can learn a lot from MBA courses, and finish my tasks better. I have so many hobbies, such as playing football, basketball and singing with my friends in KTV.
